EGMA

Polymeric Geomembranes function as the primary barrier to protect the environment by avoiding the migration of leachate and gas out of landfills, as well as the intrusion of rainwater into the landfill. Geomembranes provide excellent durability, chemical resistance, mechanical strength, flexibility and resistance to UV radiation.

Polyolefines, almost exclusively HDPE (high density polyethylene) are used for lining systems of bases and leachate collection ponds.

For cappings mainly HDPE and LLDPE (linear low density polyethylene) are used.

Steep side slopes and cappings are realized by using single-or double-sided textured geomembranes, thus significantly increasing the interface friction angle to soil and geotextiles.
